The other factor to consider is what your daughter or son likes and that can be a very important clue. With age the tastes changes and each year could be a different party based on what he or she likes. Some boys like a cars themed party and some will like the spider man party. Girls usually like the Barbie party a lot. Barbie party is like the all time favorite. But it becomes tough sometime to select a party theme which is creative and different with Barbie party.
Selecting a theme for a birthday party is a tough thing and above all you need it to be different than what your kids friends have done in the past. Talk of peer pressure. Above all you need to balance the costs with the interests of the birthday child.
