The New Renault Megane

The new Renault Megane features the same Gallic flair as it's predecessor and much more. This is the third generation of the popular Renault Megane and is still turning heads. The new Renault Megane comes minus the controversial rear protrusion featured in the old Megane. The focus of the new Megane is on the front of the vehicle and is designed to give the vehicle a sportier look than the previous models. The new Renault Megane has an aggressive look that is achieved by the curve of the bonnet and the headlamps that stretch outwards reaching towards the wheel arches.
The new Renault Megane will come in six models including a coupe-cabriolet as well as a practical estate version and a Scenic MPV version. All six models are scheduled to be available by 2010. The Megane will also be available in a 3-door version as well as a 5-door version. The goal of Renault is to resolve some of the quality issues surrounding the current Megane to provide a safer and more luxurious experience for driver and passenger alike. With this in mind, Renault has made improvements throughout the vehicle.
The new Renault Megane features a modified version of the current Megane's chassis featuring a wider track and a heavily re-worked suspension and steering system. The engine has been revised as well. There will be several fuel options available covering a variety of petrol and diesel engines. There will be six options available for the diesel engine as well as several petrol engines available, each offering different horsepower and fuel efficiency outputs. The new Renault Megane will also be available with five or six-speed manual and automatic transmissions, giving the customer more options for customizing the Megane.
The interior features a sweeping dash top complete with high-set center console and is available in a variety of colors and trim. The new Renault Megane offers luxurious accommodations for the customer with soft touch plastics throughout the cabin for comfort and also offers a variety of high tech equipment such as an assisted parking brake that automatically applies itself once the engine has been turned off, hands-free entry and ignition, and joystick-controlled 3D satellite navigation.
