Panic Attack Relief is Possible

Fear is natural. It protects you by sending warnings about potential dangers and by causing adrenaline to pump into your bloodstream, preparing you to either fight or flee the danger.
This flight or fight response is an evolutionary design to help us survive dangerous situations. Panic attack occur when the flight or fight response is triggered without an obvious threatening situation. They are characterized by extreme anxiety, trembling, shortness of breath, sweating, nausea and dizziness.
The symptoms of panic attack last 10 minutes on average, but can range from as little as 1-5 minutes to lasting hours in the cases of reoccurring panic attack.
Panic attacks are treatable. Below are some ways that can help manage your panic attacks.
* Breathe with the abdomen and diaphragm. Take long, slow and deep breaths.
* Being in the Present Moment - instead of worrying about what may happen, concentrate on what is happening now and what is the best way to respond to it.
* Accept that the panic attack is occurring and that it will soon be over.
* Accept the unpleasant feelings. Don't try to fight the symptoms, go with them.
* Speak to Yourself - repeat reassuring sentences to yourself inside your head, such as "I will let my body do its thing - this will pass", " I can be anxious and still deal with this situation" or "This does not feel great, but I can deal with it".
* Seek Relief - go to a safe place.
* Speak to someone is supportive.
* Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) - the most effective psychological treatment is consider CBT, which changes the anxious or frightening thoughts that sufferers experience.
