Online Paid Surveys - Tips and Tricks

By: Paed Serf

A large amount of money is being used by market research firms, as they provide companies with consumers' opinions about certain products either before they are launched to know what market to launch it into; or consumers' opinions about existing products to ascertain what needs to be done to revamp and improve them.

With internet access, there is a new ballgame where these corporations can reach out to you- the consumer. It's now possible that you can find and get in contact with these companies. However, the companies are unlikely to respond back to you individually.

Usually what's done is that they contract with a middleman who is given a contract to write about their products for them. This way, the companies have unfettered access to the views and opinions of their customers.

This enables them to gather a larger range of customers whom they are able to bring back to their sites by giving them good information and different schemes for purchasing their products.

This is only possible via the articles written on their sites. Currently, there are 2 possible methods that you can use to participate in on line to get paid to fill out surveys.

The first is via the free surveys. There are websites offering a free service. What you need to do is to sign up to their 'list of companies' and in return, they will give you access to these companies and their surveys. The only problem is that most of them don't offer what they say and usually end up being a bunch of spam that can waste your time frequently. So, you end up spending time and efforts, but do not get any money out of your efforts.

By using the second approach, the paid survey sites, you'll find that you have to pay as well, and use the same other processes that are used with the free ones, except for one thing. You are required to pay them before you can get paid for filling out surveys. This might turn off some people, but the truth is you get what you pay for.

When you sign up for free paid survey programs, most likely you'll end up with an email box full of spam. So, the best idea is to setup a separate email address. Use a 'free' or 'throwaway' email address. You'll want to use this exclusively for your paid survey account.

Be sure that you put the email that comes from the paid survey place on the white list. This will allow it to get through to your in-box without being automatically tossed in the spam or bulk email folder. You can send the other emails that you don't want into the spam box as well.
