These symptoms will be the strongest in the first 48 hours and in the first week and ease up in the second week. Remember it is temporary and will go away. If you need an incentive to quit smoking think about how much money your can save in a year if you are not buying smokes. After a year buy your self something special. One other incentive would be no more negative attitudes from the non smokers at work. You will no longer have to stand 15 feet away from the door of a building because you will not be smoking anymore. No anti-smoking law to deal with, make all the laws they want, raise taxes on the cigarettes. I have always said if they would outlaw cigarettes, it would put all the drug dealers out of business.
